Designed specifically for workouts, new Bose Sport Open Earbuds feature a contoured earpiece attached to a completely new type of housing that sits above the ear canal rather than above, inside or above the ear canal, redefining personal listening. Innovative, they let you listen to your world and playlists while you run, ride, walk and hike without compromising on privacy. You will hear content and conversations even at high volume, while others will not. And even during tough workouts and weather conditions, they will stay in an exact position, protecting from sweat, heat, rain and snow.
Since Bose Sport Open Earbuds are a pair of wireless earbuds, they connect via Bluetooth 5.1 and can connect to both Android and iOS devices. Each bud weighs just 14 grams and has a battery life of 8 hours on a single charge.
Bose Sport Open Earbuds don't have a dedicated volume button. Instead, you can adjust the volume using voice assistant: press and hold the left button or using volume controls on the connected Bluetooth device, such as the buttons on your smartphone or the volume slider in a music app.
Bose Music app gives you access to everything Bose Sport Open Earbuds have to offer. Get tips, tweak settings, discover new features as they're released, and get started right away with a guided setup that shows you exactly how to wear your new headphones.
Bose says that headphones are the first technology to use OpenAudio technology rather than bone conduction - the same technology that Bose uses in its Frames sunglasses. Frames sound surprisingly good, though not nearly as good as noise-isolating in-ear headphones or over-ear headphones.
This unique approach delivers cleaner, more consistent sound without the vibration sensation that bone conduction is known for, company says.
Bose Sport headphones can be charged by placing them in the charging case. If the case is charged, earbuds will charge automatically. The headphones are charging when the status indicators on headphones are blinking white. Please note: The status lights on a case will indicate a charge case status and will only flash if the case is connected to a power source and charging. Wait up to 2 hours for earbuds to fully charge. Once they are fully charged, the battery indicator on earbuds turns solid white and eventually turns off. If there is no power in the case, connect supplied USB-C cable to a case and plug the other end into a USB port on your computer or wall charger.
